We invite you to our annual Open Houses held each year on the weekend of Mother’s Day and the weekend before Thanksgiving.
We offer workshops throughout the day where you can learn great new ideas to create your own unique holiday home. Demos at 11am, 1pm, 3pm.
Guest presenters like Val Schirmer of Three Toads Farm who demonstrate on topics such as how easy it is to bring the outside in and enjoy glorious blooming bulbs through the holidays and beyond, into those dark, dreary days of deep Winter.
Jon Carloftis will always be on hand to demonstrate various tips like how to transform your containers using plants from your summer planting and transform them through the seasons all the way through to holidays. Using plants like Dusty Miller, Hot Peppers, Cabbages, Swiss Chard and a little foraging around your yard and voilà, you’ll have the prettiest holiday containers around!
And please don’t miss the chance to walk the woodland trails full of local floral and fauna along the banks of the Rockcastle River.
And we won’t let you go hungry… plan on eating here with the best local restaurants providing delicious food.
No reservations ever needed, just stop by!
