My Old Kentucky Home Birdhouse
My Old Kentucky Home State Park is a state park located in Bardstown, Kentucky. This birdhouse is fashioned after the Federal Hill Mansion, a former plantation built by United States Senator John Rowan in 1795. Federal Hill Mansion was the inspiration for Stephen Foster’s ballad “My Old Kentucky Home, Good Night,” and this birdhouse.
