Now here is a small, in-town property that we have worked on and off for the past 2 years. Built in the 1920’s, the house was stately but had hardly a view of the back garden. It’s funny how some houses were built without the outdoors in mind… We tried to visually connect the new Hartley Greenhouse (which is amazing and the ultimate luxury for a gardener!) that was strategically placed at the back end of the property to the new, open and airy addition of the house. Between the two buildings is a formal vegetable garden that is beautiful as well as functional. We plant the garden with cold weather crops in March and can’t wait until summer to show you the space in all it’s glory.
