On Wednesday night, The Bluegrass Trust opened up our new house, Botherum, to the public as a part of their ongoing “de Tour” series that offers people a chance to see properties that would normally be closed to visitors. Apparently, Botherum struck a chord! Usual attendance is around 35-55 people, they stopped counting at 800. What made us happy is the fact that it was shown as a true “Before”. This week, 5 Raccoons have been caught in “Have-a-heart” traps, living in the basement and attic. The electricity has been turned off until they are eradicated due to fear of wiring issues. A special thank you to the Bluegrass Trust for organizing this event, as well as they many new neighbors who went out of their way to make us feel welcome.
