Dale picked out this 1937 Cape Cod on Chenault Rd, almost 13 years ago and as you can see, it really had nothing going on outside or inside. But, it was built to last and the neighborhood is what this place is all about. Chenault feels like everyone knows each other and the street is full of kids and dogs which makes for a safe and happy environment. Our house has my trademark Allee in front that is now made of Natchez Crape Myrtle that blooms white all summer long and gives respite from the afternoon sun. The back garden was once a blank slate and now has dark screened in porch turned into a glass room that I like to sleep in and listen to the 3 tiered fountain placed at the end of the property for a focal point. The 2 car garage is my workspace and the former driveway is a courtyard since my trucks go so much that we park mostly out on the street for quick getaways and needed the space in back for the dogs and parties.
