On Saturday, May 18, Botherum will be the site for the 2013 LexArts Fund for the Arts campaign Finale event — a cocktail party from 5 to 7 p.m. — and we will be hosting it! Individuals who have donated $500 or more to LexArts 2013 campaign and businesses donating $1,000 and above will receive two tickets to the Finale event. Our home, Botherum, the amazing historic 1851 home of Madison C Johnson and gardens will be open to tour. You probably know that we have been working hard to restore this amazing place — but you may not know that we are working with LexArts to raise awareness and funding to support the arts in Lexington — which in turn make our community a better place to live and work.
