Although everyone loves Keeneland and any chance to get out there whether the races are running or not, I think most people agreed that moving the BGT Antique and Garden Show to the Alltech Arena was a real step forward in 2012. Not only was it a breeze for the vendors setting up/breaking down booths and gardens, everyone had plenty of room to show their wares and for visitors to walk freely. Plus, being so close to the interstate exit, it will bring in lots of travelers going up and down I-75 who see the sign “antique” and will stop. Being in a family business since 1955 in the middle of the countryside, we certainly understand so well the support from our customers from Cincinnati, Columbus, Louisville, Knoxville, Chattanooga and even Atlanta… Oh, did I mention that the center of the floor is filled with antique cars and trucks for husbands who aren’t into antique shopping AND, there are wide screen TV’s for tournament games and lots of friendly bartenders serving up Bloody Mary’s, Bourbons and Kentucky Ale! For me, this all adds up to a little slice of heaven and am sure you will agree. http://www.bluegrasstrust.org/
